The Book Parlor
The Book Parlor
is a non-profit, full service bookstore in the West Central Neighborhood of Spokane, Washington.  A ministry of Salem Lutheran Church, The Book Parlor first opened its doors in March of 2001 and has been a warm and welcoming presence in the neighborhood ever since.  We are doing our part as people called by God to make our little corner of the world a better place for all.  You may have seen our motto:  "Read. Reflect. Act."   At The Book Parlor we don't just sell books for you to read, we sell books that we hope you'll reflect on and that reflection will spur you on to serve/act in your community, wherever you find yourself.

Lutheran Staff Association
Lutheran Staff Association
promotes individual development for non-clergy staff.  We provide opportunities for education, inspiration, training, and networking for mutual support to our members.  In the early part of each year we hold a 4-day conference to provide you with opportunities to learn and laugh, sing and pray, grow in faith and connect with others working in similar ministries.  Your own spiritual growth as well as the ministry of your church or agency will be enhanced by your participation in this event.
